I would just like to let you know what is going on in the Lakeview Kitchen. I have 19 staff members and we are all very busy! We provide food for Hot Meal on Wheels and Fairmont’s Senior Dining program, in addition to the 280 meals we serve each day here on the Lakeview Campus! I have a part-time baker on staff that bakes cookies and bars for community purchase, and at times, we can have up to 20 pans of bars going out into the community each month. This is a great way for the people of Fairmont to get a taste of the great food that we serve since we take great pride in our products. We are looking forward to our future plans, which will allow my staff to be more “one-on-one” with the residents since they will soon be right on the floors cooking for them and serving in them in their home-like settings.
